Auburn University’s Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning certified ten individuals from various backgrounds and regions as Culture Bump Trainers during 2013. They are as follows:
Dr. Carla Jackson Bell
Carla Jackson Bell is currently the Director of Multicultural Affairs in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) at Auburn University.
Ms. Ebony Rose
As the previous project manager at Alford & Associates LLC, Ms. Rose now utilizes her educational and life experience as she directs the Job Placement Office in the Department of Development & Innovative Initiatives at Wallace Community College Selma in Selma Alabama.
Ms. Gina Cantrell
Ms. Gina Cantrell is the Administrative Support Associate for the On-Campus and Online MBA programs at the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She is also the administrative support for the Executive Director of Global Initiatives for the college.
Ms. Edwina Hardieway
Edwina Hardieway is the founder of Mustard Seed Wood, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation in San Diego, California. Her background includes serving as a Physician’s Assistant at Medex, at the Federal Correctional Center in San Diego, as a Command Education Specialist for Naval School of Health Sciences and as a planner and developer of science curriculum for San Diego County JCCS District. In addition, she is a grant writer consultant. She is also a facilitator for another non-profit, Mind Treasures.
Dr. Marilu Ickes
Ms. Marilu Ickes is the owner of Bilingual Conflict Solutions in Boswell Pennsylvania. Her background includes serving as an arbitrator-mediator on the Conciliation and Arbitration Board of Puerto Rico and later as an instructional system specialist, collateral ombudsman, and training coordinator in the United States Secret Service.
Mr. Michael Lenmark
Michael Lenmark is the Past-President of AIESEC Houston (aiesecus.org) (an international student-run non-profit leadership development organization and exchange programme) and Senior Resident Adviser for Student Housing and Residential Life at the University of Houston.

A trained zooarchaeologist, Dr. Fisher has helped people understand, communicate and accept cultures of other countries and cultures. She worked for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a number of years in both the social sciences and natural resources realms, specializing in cultural awareness and the cultural aspects of culture.
